2010 Gleneagles Golf Club
Saturday Couples League
For 2010, Gleneagles Golf Club will host a Saturday Night Couples Golf League. The league will be played two Saturdays each month from May through August. Saturday Night Couples League play dates are listed below. Play will begin at 4:45 p.m.
The cost to play in the league is $25 per couple. The league fee will cover the end of the year prizes and cookout. The cost per person to play each night is $20 and includes nine holes of golf with a cart and weekly prizes.
This is not a league where you are committed to play all eight weeks – although we hope you do – the more people, the more fun we have. We will have to have a minimum of 8 couples to hold the league, so get all of your golf friends together.
Saturday Couples League
Play Dates and Events
May 15th - League Night Opens, Best Ball
May 29th - Play your own ball, Least number of Putts
June 5th - Play your own ball combined, Additional Contests: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt
June 19th - Couples Scramble
July 10th – Couples 3-3-3 (3 holes of 1 best ball, 3 holes of scramble, 3 holes of alternate shot)
July 24th – “Skirt Night” (Everyone plays from the red tees.)
August 14th – Odd/Even (Men scores for even holes and women scores for odd holes.)
August 28th – Post Office (After completing the hole, read the “letter” on the next tee box to determine the scores to be used.)
